Children's Dream Fund

Founded in 1981, the Children's Dream Fund is a nonprofit organization committed to fulfilling the dreams of children aged 3 to 21 who have been diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. Serving West Central Florida, the organization works closely with medical professionals to identify eligible children and create personalized dream experiences. These dreams range from meeting celebrities to special trips, providing joy and hope during challenging times.​

It Starts in the Classroom supports educators who often rely on personal funds to supply their classrooms. By providing essential resources, the organization helps create engaging, effective learning environments while easing the financial burden on teachers. At It Starts in the classroom, we recognized a pressing need in our community: many dedicated teachers were consistently reaching into their own pockets to supply their classrooms. As a group of passionate individuals with deep ties to local education, we felt compelled to take action. Our mission is simple, yet powerful: to ensure that educators have the resources they need to create inspiring and effective learning environments without the burden of personal expense.

About this Project

The 3-story tilt-up structure with panels as tall as 60" and weighing over 215,000 lbs is accompanied by a 6-story parking garage. The project was built on an island overlooking the Tampa Bay.

With an overall schedule from mobilization to panels erected in 11 weeks. The 162 panels were erected using a 330 ton crane for panels weighing over 253,000 lbs. The pants leg panels with lids attached at the buildings NE and NW elevations provide a unique look while also constructed as tilt-up panels.

At Carr & Sons Masonry, we were proud to contribute to the Waterview project—a 15-story industrial loft-style structure encompassing 464,000 square feet of combined hotel and parking garage space.

​At Carr & Sons Masonry, we were proud to contribute to the JW Marriott Tampa project—a 15-story hotel and condominium development encompassing 483,000 square feet of combined condos, parking garage, hotel, and amenities.

At Carr & Sons Masonry, we were proud to contribute to the Seminole Hard Rock project in Tampa, FL. This extensive development included a 70,000 sq ft parking garage, a 52,000 sq ft porte cochere, a 5,000 sq ft generator facility, a 5,000 sq ft central electrical plant, and a 10,000 sq ft poker room.

About this Project

At Carr & Sons Masonry, we were proud to contribute to the construction of a sodium hypochlorite manufacturing processing plant in Manatee, FL. This facility features robust structural concrete elements supporting critical infrastructure, including the processing plant, cooling tower, holding tanks, and containment areas.
