Steve is a Florida native who grew up in Pinellas County. He attended the University of Florida, earning a degree in Civil Engineering before spending five years with an engineering firm, where he developed a strong foundation in design. This experience proved invaluable when he later transitioned into the building side of the industry. In 2005, Steve joined Carr & Sons Masonry, quickly contributing to system implementation, employee development, and the company’s long-term growth strategy. As Vice President of Carr & Sons Masonry, Steve oversees a broad range of responsibilities. He evaluates potential projects, reviews and negotiates contract terms, and supports the handoff to the construction team to ensure clarity around contractual requirements. He also provides high-level oversight of project finances, helping guide informed decision-making and project success.
