Doug has been serving as the Safety Director at CSM for the past 9 years, passionately committed to fostering a culture of safety and excellence. A Navy veteran, Doug brings discipline, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility to his role. His experience includes developing a comprehensive safety program and mentoring every safety representative from the ground up, shaping them into knowledgeable and dedicated safety professionals. Having lived in the St. Pete area for over 45 years, Doug was raised by his single grandmother, who instilled in him the values of hard work, self reliance and family. When he’s not working, Doug is a proud husband and father, cherishing family time and enjoying all Florida has to offer. An avid golfer and outdoor enthusiast, he finds balance and inspiration outside of work. Throughout his career, Doug has been instrumental in continuously evaluating and refining safety policies, protocols, and procedures to meet the evolving demands of a high-risk industry. He actively develops, implements, and oversees the training of over 300 crew members on safety plans for all project aspects, ensuring his teams meet and exceed OSHA standards. Constantly working with leadership, he addresses all safety-related concerns proactively to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
